A new EU health strategy: “Enabling good health for all”
On 15 July 2004, European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, David Byrne, launched a reflection process on EU health policy. The process was intended to shape the future EU health strategy. A reflection paper “Enabling good health for all” outlined Commissioner Byrne’s view of the key principles that ought to guide the development of future EU health policy.
