Marine Hurard joined EURORDIS in January 2022. Within the Governance & Advocacy Unit, Marine is responsible for supporting EURORDIS’ Board activities ensuring high quality standards in governance, delivering annual work programmes and reports, developing and managing the EU Operating Grant for the core operations. Her role includes ensuring a meaningful liaison between the CEO, the Board, the Core Leadership Team (CLT) and the staff with quality internal communication.
Prior to joining EURORDIS, Marine has +7 years’ work experience in EU networks and project management. After starting her career in EU Public Affairs in Brussels, she worked for 5 years at the AP-HP as Project Manager of the European Reference Network for Rare Vascular Diseases VASCERN, working with clinicians and patients advocates, with responsibilities including governance, network development, managing ERN operations, team coordination and EU funding. Marine also worked as EU Project Manager at the innovation healthcare cluster Medicen Paris Region. She has experience in EU project development, coordination and management in the health field (3rd EU Health Programme, Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, EIT Health, CEF and INTERREG NWE).
Marine holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po Lille and a Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe (Natolin, Warsow).
